Hi, I am Emma Aldous, and I am an Associate Teacher with MamaBabyBliss. I am bringing our ethos and our classes to Kegworth and Castle Donington, and want to work to allow access to these classes for all local families.

I am also setting up a local, ‘NetMums’ coffee morning, to give a place for local parents to meet and find out about their local events and classes.

Current research reflects that 1 in 4 women in the UK suffers from some form of anxiety or depression during pregnancy or after they have had a baby.

At MamaBabyBliss, we have a very clear mission which is to change the face of perinatal mental health and wellbeing and support all women on their journey through motherhood.
We are a social enterprise and a not-for-profit organisation and all surplus revenues are returned back into the company to enable us to further our work in making a difference to mothers, babies and mums-to-be everywhere.

I currently have private classes at The Workhouse Gym & The Olive Branch Toy shop in Castle Donington and at The Village Hall in Kegworth, and I want to work with local Midwives and Health Visitors to allow access to more parents.
Our Team in Nottingham currently volunteer at the QMC in the mother and baby unit, and I am working with the Derby team to create the same offer to the Derby Royal.

I am also in the process of setting up a Mother’s coffee meet, possibly at Oakland’s Butchers and the Olive Branch to give access to local families to meet and find out what is on offer for them locally. I would love to invite you to attend at regular intervals if convenient to speak.

I am also contacting the local Health Visiting team to discuss how I can allow greater access to these classes.
