Government Consultation on Pavement Parking

Government Consultation on Pavement Parking

The Department of Transport are currently consulting on Managing Pavement Parking, which consultation ends on 22nd November.

The Consultation is asking whether a change in existing pavement parking legislation should occur, with three options being proposed.

Article 4 Direction for Kegworth

Article 4 Direction for Kegworth

NWLDC have announced that the Article 4 Direction for Kegworth has been confirmed.

The Direction will come into force and take effect on Friday 19th February 2021 and not 5th February 2021 as originally specified.

Planning permission will be required for change of use from dwelling house (Class C3) to small HMO (Class C4) once the Article 4 Direction takes effect on 19th February 2021.

Leicestershire County Council Highways has agreed to a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order at the above location.

A temporary road closure is required on Long Lane, Kegworth from Ratcliffe Lane to Side Ley, Kegworth on the 13th July 2020 for approximately 16 weeks.
