The Parish Council would like to say a big thank you to The Plan Group for planting snowdrops at the Air Disaster Memorial at the Cemetery on Whatton Road.
The Group played a key part in the commemorations when their members volunteered during the day of the 30th Anniversary commemorations. The Parish Council recognised this effort by awarding £100 grant funding to each group that helped out.... Read More »

The Public Rights of Way Inspector at LCC has confirmed that the New Brickyard Lane Foothpath (L54) which enters the field, has now been re-opened for public use following completion of works relating to the bypass.

I can confirm that I have heard from Post Office Limited who say ..."please accept my apologies that once again customers in Kegworth are not receiving the consistent service they expect and deserve. Leicestershire County Council has agreed to a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order (TTRO) on High Street, Kegworth, for public safety so that Severn Trent Water can carry out infrastructure repairs.
High Street will be closed for one day on Monday 18th February 2019.
