BT ARE THINKING ABOUT REMOVING THE PAYPHONE AT MARKET PLACE, KEGWORTH.
Their research shows that this payphone is not being used enough for them to carry on running it. Because of this, they think they should remove it.

Leicestershire County Council has agreed a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order at Long Lane, Kegworth.
A road closure is required from 24th February for three weeks. Works are scheduled to be completed overnight from 20:00 to 06:00, Monday to Friday.
The TTRO is to facilitate the installation of permanent traffic lights on the A42 over bridge and associated carriageway works.

North West Leicestershire District Council has made the decision to make a non-immediate Article 4 Direction to the village of Kegworth, to withdraw permitted development rights for the change of use from dwelling houses (Use Class C3) to small HMO's (Use Class C4) where between 3 and 6 unrelated people share basic amenities such as a kitchen or bathroom.

Leicestershire County Council Highways have agreed a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order at Derby Road, Kegworth.
A road closure is required on Derby Road exit off the roundabout at M1, Junction 24 on the 17th February 2020 for two nights from 20:00 to 06:00 each night.
