There is a Recruitment Day being held at at Leicestershire County Council for highways, transport and waste management positions on Friday 10th May from 11am to 6.30pm at LCC Members' Lounge, County Hall, Glenfield.

These dates are a guide only and can change at short notice. For example as I type this on 25th April, the first cut was due in Kegworth on 22nd April!

"A mega thank you for all who tuned out in the glorious weather to support Kegworth doing its best to have a fabulous time with our Easter Market.
I hope you all agree that there was indeed a superb turnout and our 40 children in Easter bonnets made all the difference. We had 10 bunnies that were drawn out of the hat for our hunt the bunny competition.

The Parish Council is very pleased to report that the cemetery on Whatton Road received a makeover this week when Buckingham Group Contracting Limited re-laid the central pathway at no cost to the Parish.

Leicestershire County Council Highways has agreed to a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order at New Brickyard Lane, Kegworth.
A road closure is required on New Brickyard Lane on the 10th April 2019 for three days.
The Temporary Traffic Regulation Order will be implemented for public safety for Severn Trent Water to facilitate infrastructure repairs.
